Adult FSP Associate Therapist

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Village Family Services is accepting applications for full time LMFT, LCSW, PsyD and/or license eligible, BBS registered ASW or AMFT to join our FSP team to provide comprehensive mental health and therapeutic treatment services for adults . Intensive services will primarily be provided in the community (home, living facility, other) to these adult clients. Therapist will work to improve outcomes for these individuals. Please note that this position may require on-call evenings after 7pm-9am, and once a month 24 hrs. weekend availability based on client needs and be on LPS rotation once a month for a week.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

1. LMFT, LCSW, PsyD and/or license eligible with BBS number as AMFT or ACSW. 

2. Must possess valid California Driver's license and state required registration and insurance. 

    3. Travel to meet with clients in home and community settings. 

    4. Two or more years of direct practice experience working with adults. 

    5. Clients include adults with serious and persistent mental illness; homelessness extensive trauma histories; history of psychiatric hospitalization and co-occurring disorders. 

    6. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team setting to provide the Core Practice Model of services; knowledge of Full Service Partnership preferred.

    7. Excellent assessment, triage, and crisis management skills. 

    8. Strong time management and organizational skills. 

    9. Skilled in engaging, motivating and working with diverse individuals and groups to accomplish established goals. 

    10. Self-directed, efficient and effective in problem solving and managing multiple demands and objectives. 

    11. Knowledge of Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) clinical paperwork and timelines. 

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    1. Work with adults 26 years and up. 
    2. Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment for clients. 
    3. Provide individual as well as family and group therapy (as needed) using evidence based psychotherapy interventions, and case management as needed. 
    4. Likes collaborating and communicating with a multidisciplinary treatment team; and makes referrals as needed. 
    5. Complete required documentation according to DMH and agency standards. 
    6. Demonstrate empathy to work with individuals under stress. 
    7. Participate in weekly staff meeting and appropriate supervision and consultation.

    Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday On call Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate:

    Pay: $75,650.00 - $82,000.00 per year
